Free Pandora-style Journey Beads and goodies from Oshun Spirit. Yes, free!

Would you like five free Pandora-style Journey Beads?
How about a free Tiger Eye Pendant Necklace from Oshun Spirit Earth Friendly Goods?

It's true! Yesterday I listed a few items on Listia  which is a new kind of auction site where you bid on items using credits instead of real money.  And you get the credits for free! Begin with signing up using this link and you'll get fifty right away because you're using my referral link. There are lots of things on Listia you can bid on and win with just those first 50 credits, and most offer free shipping. The category structure is similar to ebay and includes antiques, collectibles, fashion, electronics, home & garden and more!

Plus, you can earn 10 more credits just by tweeting an item or sharing it on Facebook before you bid. If you list an item to "sell" (that's free) you'll get another 100. And once you get rolling its easy to earn even more credits, for example you can earn 50 credits by inviting 6 Facebook friends who participate in any auction.

I'll be listing items from Journey Beads and Oshun Spirit from time to time, mostly just for fun and to promote our new Facebook Fan pages... but there are some pretty cool goodies I want to bid on too! Not only is it a great way to get visibility for the storefronts, Listia auctions are a nice way to say thank you to you, my loyal customer friends. Some of you may have already received free credits from me this morning through Facebook.

So please take a moment to "like" our fan pages if you haven't already done so  http://www.facebook.com/JourneyBeads and http://www.facebook.com/oshunspiritstore  and you'll be among the first to know when the freebies get listed on Listia.

It's fun. It's easy. And you can score some of your favorites from Oshun Spirit and Journey Beads for free! Sign up here and take a look at the first five auctions!

Why the Celebration? In every community there are animals sitting in animal shelters waiting for homes. Only about half of those dogs (and cats) will ever get one. The other half will be euthanized.
I know that making the decision to neuter or spay a pet means fewer pets… pets as sweet, loving, healthy, and deserving of companionship as my own… will be euthanized for lack of a home. Harley and Duke are purebreds, but that is not an excuse not to be proactive, many purebreads are given up as they were.

So it IS a celebration of Joey, Harley and Duke (all rescues) becoming good, model citizens and an opportunity for us to all blog, support, and speak positively about stopping pet overpopulation proactively!

Come Have Some Fun!
If you haven't yet enjoyed the thrill of a Bonanzle Live Chat Auction,
today's your day!
I'll be auctioning this "Root of the Earth Bowl"

Monday 1/19, at 5pm PST “Bonanzle Time”

www.bonanzle.com/oshunspirit1

This is a 15-minute progressive auction,
with more goodies added as the bidding heats up!
No reserve! Shipping is $5 in addition to winning bid.

A unique, one-of-a-kind Valentine gift for someone very special, this burl is perfect to use as a decorative centerpiece filled with pinecones or river rocks, in the kitchen to hold fruit or to serve rolls, in the bath to hold spa essentials, or on your desk or dresser to catch your car keys and your spare change. It measures approx. 10 x 12 x 4" deep.

Hand-carved from reclaimed Chinese fir trees, gorgeous in their simplicity and natural beauty, these gnarled bowls are not just useful, but have a great story behind them. Each bowl is made from the stump of a Chinese Fir called Shan Mu from the mountains of Central China. Artisans painstakingly hollow the stumps, sand them to a smooth finish, and seal them to be food safe. Knots, cracks and imperfections are considered part of their charm! Throughout this process, the artisans strive to maintain the unique character of the parent tree. Each of these pieces are one of a kind and they are all made by hand from a single piece.

Through Root Carving, farmers are able to provide a consistent income for their families. They do the work of digging up the roots and pass them on to skilled artisans who turn and carve them into unique bowls and baskets. The wood is washable using warm soap and water, occasionally treat with mineral oil to maintain.

Our collection of home goods is designed to reflect your passion to live an earth-friendly lifestyle, to preserve resources and the dignity of indigenous people, and to reconnect to the beauty of the natural world. Our offerings are good for you, and good for us all!

I'll be live in my Bonanzle booth before the auction
to answer any questions you might have about Bonanzle Live Chat Auctions. Please note that the $100 price currently on the piece is simply to hold it untill the auction. Bidding starts at 0.
See you at the auction!
