Crystal Balls, Tarot Cards, Pendulums and Psychic Readings... Oh My!

So, you're thinking that you might want to schedule an intuitive reading... but you're not really sure what to expect. You're imagining it might be, well, weird... or maybe even a little scary!

Relax. 

My name is Susan Berry. And, I offer psychic readings and spiritual counseling with one intention: to help you to be more aware of your Spirit – your higher self – and your plan and your purpose for your life.  When you have this awareness, you can make choices that are in harmony with your own highest  intentions.  And, you can experience your best possible life, love, and health!  

It is not my desire to predict your future, but to point you in the probable direction of joy, creativity, abundance and love. It is not my intention to tell you what to do, but remind you how to do what you want to do from the vantage point of your Spirit. Please note that our Spirits communicate based on Universal Laws, and thus do not limit our interactions to any particular religious denomination or spiritual practice.


When I do a reading for you, I first connect with you energetically. As a seer and empath, I do this most easily by viewing your photograph. I adjust my vibration so I can clearly "see and feel" you. Then I am able to access any guidance that is supportive of the present moment and your current level of spiritual understanding of the challenges in your life.  The information offered to you is always that of non-judgemental and compassionate wisdom. The purpose is  to open your heart, facilitate deep healing, and strengthen the flow of love and positive energy into your life.  It is given so that you may move forward with grace and in harmony, gifted with free will and the capacity to choose your course of action for the highest good as your life unfolds.

An intuitive reading with me is simply a guided journey into the larger story of your life so that you may make informed choices from the perspective of the higher planes. It's not weird.  And it is certainly not scary! It is beautiful.

With this in mind, it I recommend that it is always best to approach the reading process with clear goals in terms of what you wish to heal or balance, and with a list of questions that you would like answers to.  And, after you compose your list, ask yourself if the questions you are asking are really reflective of what you want to know? Go deeper, always go one layer deeper!

Although readings generally do not require much preparation on the part of you, the client,  there are still certain things that you can do both before and during the reading which will help you to get the most out of our time together. First, ask yourself why you want to have a reading. Do you just want to hear what you want to hear? Or, are you ready to un-earth and face long buried truths? Are you prepared to listen to the facts as they present themselves and are you willing to follow through with directives for transformation? Are you ready for a deep healing that can change your life?


I offer readings as catalysts for healing. I open myself only to sacred purpose. If you want lotto numbers I'm not the channel for you.


I do recommend that you write your questions down prior to our time together as it is easy to forget to ask the most important question that you wanted to explore, especially when we get a really good connection, as the information that comes through can be fast and furious!

My goal is to diminish some of your unsettled nerves beneath which exists a natural curiosity about life and a desire to know things on a deeper level. After all, without that curiosity and desire you would not be seeking a reading! 

It’s important to remember too that psychic abilities are normal and we all possess them to a degree. We all have "psychic" moments and although many people like to brush these aside with the word “coincidence” the truth is that there are no coincidences. We all have a psychic sense, it’s a normal part of our being human so don’t be afraid of this. Remember that I am a regular person just like you! I've just focused on my gift and practiced for many years, just as a concert pianist is graced with mastership of music from years of perfecting that natural gift.

So, connect with the feeling of excitement around this desire to know, and let that guide you. That will help put you in touch with the voice of your own intuition and when it is time for your reading take a deep breath and relax. This deep relaxation will make a world of difference in the quality of your reading and your ability to intuit the subtle meanings in the message. As you listen to what is being channelled to you from spirit, you may not accept everything that you are being given right away. I ask that you do remain open to the possibilities that this information is being given to help you, and that you will gain clarity over time. Aha moments often occur days and months after your reading!

Also, you should be ready and open to enter into a two way conversation. It will not interrupt the flow of information that you are supposed to receive. If some information is given to you and you do not fully understand it, do not be afraid to ask me to repeat the information or ask for my interpretation of it. I am very approachable and friendly (and a I'm a mom!), so remember that I am here to help you. If you want to ask any questions, then please do ask away! The most important thing you can do is to relax. It is normal to be a little nervous, and excited especially if you have never had a psychic reading before. Nerves are normal whenever we do anything for the first time.  But since you have decided to have a reading there are no doubt certain areas of your life which you would like to seek deeper insights and guidance about, and you are excited to explore. So, take some time before-hand to think deeply about the questions you wish to ask and write them down. Having "notes" will help you to feel more relaxed during our time together. And in that space of relaxation, peace and an open heart – miracles occur!

Projecting Judgement: The Mind, The Ego, The Spirit, and The Light

In meditation this morning I kept seeing a ‘projector’ in my mind. I assumed it was being given to me as a symbolic message as part of a reading I was preparing for. I do see a beam of light as a metaphor often, but my attention was focused on the wheels and gadgetry of the thing. So I decided to explore the prompt to investigate what I was really looking at... the machine.

The machine... with the ability of streaming internal images (or ideas) out and onto something (or someone) else... and I started to think about people as living, breathing projectors.

Everyone one of us is a being of light with the ability to shine that light out as an emanation of who and what we are...

But machines are cold, programmed and tooled...

And I "heard" the word judgement. Now, I've been aware of myself watching ideas of justice and judgement playing themselves out in the world and national news, in pop-culture and media, and recently spilling into the mini-dramas of day to day interactions. I've been aware of callous comments, negative attacks, calls for condemnation and the consequences of jumping to judgements. It's a word that has been rattling around in my consciousness...

Oh... Projecting Judgement! Judgment is a big idea with an immense base of power because judgments have the ability to alter realities, and very quickly. That makes them attractive! Judgements send strong currents of energy which affect individuals, communities, and indeed even nations. But judgements are subjective, and they are an illusion. They are projections of the mind, and not the spirit. And they do not really serve as surrogates for the justice we might desire, but rather, judgements act as jailers of the emotions and vulnerabilities within ourselves which keep us in the chains of denial, fear, and separation from each other.

And certainly, judgements keep us out of the light.

A person being judged will certainly react in some way. Depending on the awareness of the individual it might be with reflection... judgement may spark compassion and a blessing from the heart. But often judgement produces a physical, verbal, and/or emotionally charged reaction fitered through the mind or ego... and the need to defend or deny, or blame, or apologize, or retaliate... or meditate.

The judgment will also impact the speaker. If they become conscious of what they are really saying, their awareness will allow for growth and positive change within themselves. However, if they cannot become conscious, the behavior and/or person they are judging will become increasingly aggravating and intolerable to them. Of course the more ‘heat’ there is in the judgement, the more spirit is calling for inner reflection. And please don't judge THAT as a bad thing!

When I catch myself proclaiming a judgement, I ask myself:

• How powerful is this person over me that she/he generates such a fearful response in me?
• Why have I given away my own power in this situation?
• What frame of mind am I coming from?
• What is the self-talk that speaks within me?

Back to the projector. Remember, it is a machine that reflects outwardly the "image" that has been placed inside of it, just as we project outwardly the image we hold of ourselves within. Now take that one step further:

• What is that image?
• Who placed it there?
• What is my true essence?
• Am I projecting that?

We usually project outwardly what we are thinking/feeling about ourselves. And we are usually projecting fear about our own perceived shortcomings when we project a judgement, and that is merely a mechanism of the ego machine. The conditioned mind, not the light that we are.


Truthfully we can only see in another what we can find in ourselves. For some people, this concept will be intriguing and allow an openness to test and investigate!  It will begin a path toward inner knowing, self reflection, healing, and growth. Why? Because you will begin to discover your patterns of behavior. Only in consciously knowing about something can you consciously change it.

For others this concept will be upsetting. It might be more comfortable to go into denial about some of the judgments you have. So then, just become aware of the judgments that others have. Are they judging behaviors and manners that they have enacted themselves? Just be an observer for now…

It is natural and prevalent in human nature to comment on what is outside of us. However, it is of our spiritual nature to remain within ourselves, within our own individual experiences where our individual lessons and opportunities for growth await our discovery. When we step into someone else’s world, and judge their experiences…we are in essence giving away our own power to something that can not serve us and will, in the end, only weaken our experience.

Every time I find myself involved with the happenings of another, their reactions, conflicts, and drama… I try to become instantly aware of the amount of my own energy that is getting usurped. I realize that I am using energy that could be better spent directed to my own needs, wants, desires, dreams, and manifestations. I measure very carefully what I'm willing to give away.

We can all work on our projections! Take a breath, and realize in that moment that you were about to take time away from yourself and give up an opportunity for self-awareness. Take that time back to tinker with the gadgetry of your projector, and in that moment, bring the fragments of your light back into focus so that you can fully see the picture of beauty within yourself. Bring your true essence back into focus. Then go ahead and project that love!

Coming into the Great Alignment: Your Heart, The Creator and Mother Earth

As many of you know, I have offered intuitive counseling and spiritual healing in many different forms over the past decades, both locally and on online. I have been blessed to learn many variations in the practice of balancing the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies from the best of the best. Each modality is unique and profoundly needed, and yet I have realized that all healing arts essentially balance and restore us to our unique essential vibration and support our manifestation and expression. This is my life's work – to assist in creating harmony.

All of these modalities and techniques, and the material tools for transformation which I offer in my storefronts, will ultimately open us to the opportunity for spiritual healing through an infusion of light to the energy bodies and physical body. Variations in cultural techniques have provided me with a lovely palette from which to draw the perfect philosophy, art and practice – at any given moment – to assist the diverse needs of my students and clients around the world.

My online presence has afforded me opportunities to work with both individuals and groups of many cultures and spiritual traditions. Living in these times of unparalleled global access has gifted me with a deep understanding of the heart and soul of humanity, and opportunities to witness the miraculous transformational experiences which are possible when the heart is awakened and aligned with the spirit. These transformations have led me to this moment, and to the dedication of my practice in 2011 to The Great Alignment, that is to assist awakening people to access the wisdom of their divine spiritual essence which resides in the heart.

The Great Alignment is not an external event destined to occur on a specific date, marked by astrological cycles or ancient prophesy. It is within you. It will occur individually and collectively as each individual who embraces the spiritual calling to awaken, and opens their heart unconditionally to love, adds their light and love and consciousness to the the collective planetary consciousness. It is through many individuals awakening that Earth herself will come into alignment with her own potential as a Divine Mother.

What is the Great Alignment? It is a direct pathway to self-knowledge, which in essence is the Creator within you. Source has given you an awareness, a consciousness within your heart which is your own source of inner wisdom. However, this consciousness is not like your intellect. It is not constantly thinking, planning, remembering, imagining, and so forth. It is more of an awareness, a state of being. And it is connected to everything in the universe. And I want you to get aligned with it and stay with it, and trust it. And use it. Everyday.

Your open, etheric heart contains your multi-dimensional connection to the Creator. Its function is to assure you that while you are living here, in the world in a state of seeming separation, you are not really apart from Source. Our minds cannot fathom such an intimate connection with the Divine because our intellect was not created by God. Your intellect was created by you, and your family, and by your environment, and by me and mine. What was created by God is the "heart knowledge" within you and me, this deeper mind that is connected to all creation in the universe. And it will not fail you when you rely on its wisdom. That I promise.

Your heart contains the memory of your soul, the memory of your purpose for being here, and the blueprint for your mission in life, the greater activity that you and you alone are here to accomplish. The ascending heart and sacred heart chakras house the essence of Universal Compassion and Universal Love. They create a triad via an etheric link with the heart chakra. There is a holographic projection of the link between these three centers held in the subtle energy field. This hologram is known as the etheric heart. Its purpose is to facilitate communication via the language of light between our soul, the Universal Heart, and the Universal Mind. This is the essence of The Great Alignment.

Through the components of the program, I will guide you to create a very individualized, and efficient, pathway to the source of your inner wisdom. Having an awakened heart and being aligned with your life purpose does not mean that you have a plan that is already predetermined. You must constantly be adapting to the changing circumstances of life around you. Many people try to adapt their experiences to their definitions of themselves, their definitions of what they are doing in life, but this is backwards. Your heart knows why you are here and what you must do. It knows who you must meet and where you must go, and when. And yet this awakened heart is in a dynamic relationship with the movement of the world, so if things change, which they are, if circumstances require a different set of actions, your Heart Knowledge responds immediately without judgement, without shame, and without fear. This is the Gift of The Great Alignment.

The awakened heart is able to respond in the moment with joy and excitement. It is able to change the plan. It is able to redirect you if circumstances require it. It is creativity and inspiration in harmonious action with your life plan.

These challenging times ask that we learn to live without a lot of our personal or ego definitions. The "this is who I am, and this is what I do, and this is how I am, and this is what I believe, and this is what I think the world means and life means and purpose means and love means... and so forth” will no longer serve us. Bound by all these definitions, we cannot flow with life now. We will not.

Therefore, the primary goal of The Great Alignment is to empower you to be present in the moment, to be responsive to your environment, and to awaken your ability to trust and follow your heart knowledge.  My prayer is that I am able to support you in the very personal way which is pivotal to your understanding and experience of this truth, so that you may gain the great awareness and the great power of thinking from the heart. This knowledge is your relationship to God, and the key to creating Heaven on Earth for yourself, your family, and us all.

Oshun, what's love got to do with it?

These are challenging times. And you will be tested, as will I.

I have watched several respected and skilled metaphysical counselors in my circle of aquaintances degenerate into psycho-deceivers, fortune tellers, and psychic readers who present sensational readings and dramatic performances to appease the lower natures of their clients. One friend is simply misguided in her efforts to bring comfort in uncertain times, while I believe the others find it's just easier, and often, more lucrative. For some, a plane lands every other Saturday, bringing wealthy seekers to discover indigenous wisdom through spa treatments and gourmet vegetarian cuisine. The fire walkers are paid by the hour. Cocktails are served. Although ritual is holy, spin is not.

Greed, corruption, and a lust for power has spoiled many a noble endeavor. But remember, although money is a currency, it is only valued in the third dimension. The morally and spiritually bankrupt are a far poorer lot, and their poverty although cyclical, is long lasting. It matters not your life's work, when your work is no longer love made visible, it has lost its true value.

The hush and ssshhh approach, which is essentially spin, causes a dependency on the spinner, and others, rather than function as a catalyst for the client's self mastery and forward movement. And, as a result, real growth and happiness is stunted for both the client and the facilitator. A simple law of nature: you reap what you sow.

Many people believe that psychic ability indicates high spiritual development. Not so! A psychic person may not be spiritual, and a spiritually-evolved person may not choose to develop their psychic skills. Many animals have shown to be sensitive to psychic impressions! Psychic intuition is a natural ability, tuned by practice. Remember, just as fire can be used to heat your family's soup it can burn down your neighbor's house. It's also a simple law of nature, do with it what you will. We can only hope that as mankind harnesses the laws of nature (and the laws of the universe) we do so in concert with our own highest nature, our divine essence...

Laws of nature belonging to any realm of existence are just that, natural! It is only by the non-awareness of those laws that we glamourize them as super-natural. Nature manifests as a whole spectrum of energies, and only a tiny part of it is perceptible to our third-dimensional, five-sense orientation. But, by expanding one's consciousness through daily attunement with the multi-dimensional, universal mind one gradually realizes the interrelationship of all manifestations, which in reality is of one essence. Then, if we grasp the unconditional connectivity and inclusive love providing all, we may evolve as multi-sensory, multi-dimesional beings. Our multi-dimensional knowing then simply surpasses our mentally and emotionally charged logic, if the heart is pure. But only in the presence of love.

As a metaphysician and mentor, I strive to awaken a sense of responsibility and self mastery in my clients, and enable them take control over their experiences in this life by understanding universal laws. Through a combination of spirit listening, spiritual guidance, intuitive insight and direct energy healing, my intention is to bring clients to their highest level of well-being in all aspects of their lives. In my experience as a daughter of Oshun, I know that once an awareness of universal law fosters the desire to live harmoniously, and the source and cause of abundance are known and applied, there is less stress, less judgement, and less struggle for survival. And, the law of the jungle is miraculously replaced with the law of love.

Where there is love, truly, there is cooperation instead of competition. There is no fear-driven appetite for gain. There is more time and energy for higher pursuits. Without a higher awareness of the unconditional love that unites all of the energy patterns of creation we waste and squander our time and resources on trivial matters. And this squandering has caused spiritual human evolution to stagnate for thousands of years.

Today, the upsurge of spiritual energies encircling our planet is awakening humanity's understanding of the existence of higher realities, and providing an evolutionary nudge to embrace our place as co-creators. This higher awareness has been quantified through scientific research through the theories of quantum physics, hyperspace, and parapsychic science. The masses can finally believe, maybe...

Today, the true metaphysicial mentor must be a a scientist, shaman, mystic, magician, philosopher, poet, and a humanitarian. The healer must be the lover of all ways. Beware the instant enlightenment programs boasting gourmet wild edibles and gloating wise elders who spit fire every Tuesday at 8pm just before they reveal the secret teachings! Did you want a hut with wireless internet and a hot tub? A massage before or after your initiation?

It is simpler, really. It's not about that experience, it's only about love. Of self first, then others, then all. If you get that from the package, ok! But you really only need open your heart to all ways. Always. Eternally yours.

Practitioners like myself are channeling and creating integration methods which combine present findings of science with traditional metaphysical knowledge which draw on diverse multicultural, esoteric wisdom. No longer able to be this or that, the teachings are unified. All true servants of the divine and humanity are lovers of love, peace, and harmony. Intuitive Counseling, Psychic Reading, Spiritual Healing... One Love

"What do you do for a living?"

Once upon a time, and just once, I replied that I was an ebay psychic. Of course the person who asked thought I was joking. But it was true. At the time, I was working with dozens of clients each week, all who were finding me on eaby, and I was using my psychic and intuitive skills to help them to become more aware of how their spiritual life (or lack of it) might be influencing the choices and challenges they were experiencing in their relationships, careers, and health.

I don't call myself "Madame Susabella" or dress in flowing robes, but I am what I am. My practice has long since grown past the confines of the ebay metaphysical community, although I do maintain a few listings there. And, my practice and on-line presence has taken several twists and turns along the way.

While I do offer psychic and tarot readings, I have turned my attention to the Tachyon field, and the application of sacred geometry to encode and program vibrations of thoughts and emotion with probable outcomes. Its sort of like embryonic stem cell research without matter! And yes, I use my psychic skills as part of the equation, in conjunction with an understanding of quantum physics, a healthy dose of faith in the structure of an intelligent universe and an appreciation of our human ability to intuit and create with that intelligence. So, I now simply say I am an intuitive counselor. Quantum physics is difficult to explain in a brief, casual encounter.

Although there is nothing wrong with being referred to as a psychic, the term itself has gotten a bit of a bad rap. I personally don’t mind the label psychic, as I see it as a natural ability that has become a valuable skill with years of study and practice, like any other talent be it musical, athletic, or artistic.

Because we are all psychic on some level this ability need not be looked at as if it is a mysterious talent. I think the change in labeling may be to create a distinction between those of us who are interested in helping others with our intuitive tools from the stigma attached from the scamming fortune tellers who call themselves psychic.

Not everyone uses their intuitive natures professionally to help others. Some of us that do are more comfortable being referred to as intuitive counselors or healers.

What’s the difference?
Someone who seeks a psychic may ask: “When will I meet my soul mate?”

A person consulting an intuitive counselor asks: “What can I do differently in my life to help attract a loving partner?”

Intuitive ability is a wonderful gift that offers healers such as myself the opportunity to better understand nature of the challenges their clients are suffering with. A skilled healer can sense and "read" the energy field of the person receiving the healing and provide healing equally effectively if the person is in the same room or across the world. There are many ways one might understand how this works. Much of our everyday experience involves the transfer of energy over long distances. In fact, satellite dishes are just one example. There are energies all about us traveling great distances in short amounts of time, including radio and magnetic waves.

From my own viewpoint, it is not necessary for the energy to “travel” anywhere as I am able to “see” the universe as being like a holograph, where the whole is contained in every part. Time and distance are only concepts which help define our “ordinary” third dimensional reality. The laws of nature which describe subtle energies in the higher dimensions are different than those which describe the denser frequencies including the physical body. As physics explores the layers of the structure of creation, phenomena become less and less localized.

Physicists describe a unified field. This is the field in which I work, actually an altered state of awareness in which the limitations of separation, of time and distance, me and you, and thoughts and forms have been transcended. It is oneness consciousness. Awareness itself, the one field of intelligence and “beingness” in which this whole phenomenal world is contained, is here and there, you and me. One love.
