Holding the space for love

I met Mark about six years ago and was immediately awestruck by his depth of wisdom, compassion, and understanding. He contains more light in his slight being than I have ever seen emmenate from any man, except maybe Gandhi. (Well, in fact it spills out all around him, there is no container!) Mark and I became instant friends, and life-long kindred spirits by the second minute of our very first conversation, and our friendship remains a treasure in my life.

Mark is an Angel on this Earth. I have no doubt.

One of the first things we talked about together was his desire to have children, to be a birth-father to children he could feel wanting to come through him. It was odd he should tell this to a virtual stranger, but I assured him, I agreed. I could feel their presence, too!

But here is the tricky part. Mark is gay. So that makes the entire process a bit complicated outside of adoption. Do-able, but difficult. And Mark was and is committed, and comfortable in the knowing the process would be long and not without profound soul-written lessons. Over the years  he has shared his journey with me, and I am always left marveling at the fertility and motherhood I often take for granted, sacred experiences so priceless and precious...

Mark has taught me gratitude, and humility, by allowing me to view the world through his beautiful eyes.

I recently read Mark quoted in an article in Time for Families. He wrote:

Some of us are just meant to be parents. I love the line in Eat, Pray, Love where one of the characters says, “Parenthood is like getting a tattoo on your face. You kind of need to be fully committed.” I’ve never had a question of commitment to this dream, as it’s been with me for so long.

The way that I can explain it best is this: It’s not so much that I want to be a father as much as I feel that my children want to be born. To some, that might sound totally nuts and most would say that it’s an excuse. Parenthood… especially with your own biology… can seem really selfish, after all. 

Well, I quietly wondered if that was the case in my situation but recently realized just how little this has to do with me. When I visited the fertility clinic in Atlanta for the first time, it came to my attention that I can “will” the embryos to somebody in the event of my passing. It was then that I realized if I unexpectedly die, I still want at least two of those embryos to become children. 

They have been knocking on my “spiritual window” for my whole life and they deserve a chance at life, even if I cannot be there in physical form to observe it. I will choose a deserving couple and will make sure that regardless of what happens to me, they will get to experience life on this planet.

I recently talked with Mark about his decision to go ahead and begin this process of freezing sperm and finding an egg donor and surrogate. I wanted to know what I could do to support his dream, knowing there needs to be energetic support and lots of love as well as financial currency in alignment for the process to continue...

I asked that I might share his story and he was open to that, in fact his response was:

"Even if people choose not to help, I want them to be moved and inspired to go after their own dreams... and to cause a ripple effect."

Meet Mark Milner. My friend, my teacher, and the father to the dear ones who have stayed with him for as long as I have known him. Wisdom from the Grandmothers: The Way to Peace

 Every once in a while someone finds me online,  on a selling site, facebook or through google and feels the need to challenge me, chastise me, or save me, via email. I say pick up the phone, come over for tea. Let's have some face time if this is really that important to you. At least, please use your true name in your emails so we can make a real connection.

And while I do appreciate the kind gestures springing from your dogma of choice, name calling, threats of eternal damnation, and warnings that I am running out of time to jump on your (one-and-only) bandwagon don't come across as very loving.... to me.

I have a new fan. And she's been writing to me, warning me, as part of her mission. And while I am a pretty present and grounded girl, I have to admit I find her constant contact unsettling. Yesterday, while reading her email I felt real negativity entering me. She was sending me fire, hate, and unfounded judgement, ignorance and intolerance, and I was allowing her bully-behavior into my sacred space.

I shifted right into the crazy place. I thought about my defense. My "rights." My "right" rights to squash this.

I know about returning unwanted energies, so I stated out loud "These energies are not mine to deal with, please return them to the sender."  I phrased it differently in my head at first but regrouped to a kinder, gentler me. And then I added the "please."

I stopped reading and recognized that this was not mine to deal with, these emotions of fear, anger and guilt were not my own, but from the sender. And although I felt calmer in this knowing, I did not feel resolved or balanced. I wondered if there was some better way I could assist the sender. So I sent feelings of love, joy, harmony and peace, and pictured the sender in her highest light.

I know that many people would have reacted to this situation by returning an email, perhaps with as much anger as directed at them, and some of us skilled with words and thoughtforms might have even drawn mightier swords. You, like me, might have even tried (once again) to educate and reason with the sender, but both of these reactions have only added to the energy charge already formed, expressed. They form a line in the sand, between my viewpoints and hers.

When defensive emotions rise within me I try to sense why they are being triggered. I become aware of the first thing or situation that comes to my mind, leading me to realize what needs to be released within me.

Today another email, even more negative (no, that is a judgement... I'll say extremest) than yesterday. She wanted a response. A validation of her "rights" and my wrongs, repentance and conversion, and a surrender of my position. Her sword, drawn in the name... of what?

So I went to my healing room and meditated, surrendered. As I sat quietly I realized that the energies that I had returned in the past by engaging in dialouge, no matter how well-intentioned, had in fact made things worse, by adding defense to the already unstable energy of attack. If I'm not one of the right "them," I am one of the "wrong others." I can only be for them or against them, and if I am not with them then the perception is that I am fighting them.  Any defense is seen as an attack. I cannot win. This war.

No, war is not the answer, and it will never create peace.

I asked my guides to show me how to handle this situation correctly.

I heard, "send the unhealed negative energies to Source and ask that they be transmuted and that these now positive energies be dedicated to The Earth Mother."

Wisdom from the grandmothers.

Dearest Creator, the Source of unconditional love. I ask that the negative unhealed energies being created and directed at me by x, be sent to you to be transmuted. I ask that this now positive energy be dedicated to Mother Earth to assist in raising the vibrations of this beautiful planet.

And I went to my computer.

My Dear Sister, I see you in your highest light, be your heart filled with love, peace, harmony, joy, tolerance and gratitude. Be this for your highest and greatest good and the highest and greatest good of all.

Grounding the Lightbody as Part of the Ascension Process

As we raise our vibrations in preparation for creating the much needed and highly prophecised New Earth Reality, each of us are experiencing and integrating the natural shifts of our evolution in unique ways according to our spiritual understanding and karmic influences. We are in a process known as Ascension.

I hear from many people who have been expressing difficulty with feelings of being disconnected from their bodies, life, and other people. Many awakened people are experiencing very little joy and little ability to manifest in the physical. There are wondrous and beautiful changes are occurring on our planet and within our physical bodies just as there are also many systems and ways of being that are collapsing and nearing extinction. It is natural to grieve over losses even as we are celebrating new possibilities. But beyond that, there is also a real energetic disconnect happening which is resulting in a complete paralysis of the spirit. I'd like to address this short-circuitry.


The issues that so many are experiencing, as they work to raise their frequencies, manifest because the light and energy levels that the spiritual lightbody can hold are considerably higher than the physical body has been capable of processing. This can leave one feeling a deep separation between their body and their spirit as well as an inability to experience joy and peace from their bodies or manifest the simplest desires in their physical world.

As we raise the vibrational frequency of our spiritual selves, we must also do the same for our physical selves. Many people have the perception that the body’s frequency levels raise in unison but that is simply not the case. We must tend to, love, clear, nurture and activate our physical body the same as we do our spiritual body, chakras and energy fields. Proper nutrition, rest, time spent in nature and daily excercise are a must. 

As many of you know I have worked with wild dolphins for many years. These amazing creatures are  a the most precious source of holistic intelligence, joyful, loving, forgiving... and the message that I received most often in the Dolphin chanelling sessions over and over again is this: Bring back the joy, play! When we create from that energy we will indeed create Heaven on Earth.

And, although I've said it before, I'll say it again. We must remember what it is to PLAY with light. We won't be building anything of value as a fear-based reaction to our current circumstances. Now, even as the land is shaking, flooding, and burning all around us must we commit like never before to our physical presence in our bodies.

I'd like you to consider the Earth Star Soul Star Activation process. The Earth Star grounding component alleviates much of the  discomfort when there is an imbalance in your physical/ and spiritual body's frequencies. Ask yourself the following questions:

* Are you finding yourself depleted of energy and vitality?

This connection is healing to the lower chakras so you can experience life, joy and love from a very present and physical perspective, manifesting and creating all that your Spirit wrapped itself in your physical body to exist in this dimension to accomplish.
